Direct Roving for Filament Winding Pultrusion Weaving.

 

Direct roving is an E-glass roving produced by directly winding a certain number of individual fibers form the bushing without twist. It is coated with a silane-based size and is designed for reinforcing unsaturated polyester, epoxy, vinylester and phenolic resins.

Direct roving is specially used to produce GRP FRP pipes, pressure vessels, Gratings and profiles and, when converted into woven roving, boats and chemical storage tanks. With filament winding, pultrusion and weaving process.

Compatibility with a multiple of resin systems;

Complete and fast wet-out in resins;

Good moisture resistance and low fuzz;

Good mechanical properties.

 

 

Unless otherwise specified, fiberglass products should be stored in a dry, cool and rain-proof area. It is recommended that the room temperature and humidity should be always maintained at 15-35,35%-65% respectively. To ensure safety and avoid damage to the product, the pallets should not be stacked more than two layers high. When the pallets are stacked in two layers, care should be taken to correctly and smoothly move the top pallet.
